JSAUX Apple Watch Charger Stand Reviewed

The JSAUX Apple Watch Charger Stand is, as you might expect, a stand and charger for the Apple Watch. It’s an uncomplicated, unassuming product that gets the basics right but doesn’t aspire to be fancy, designer or expensive.

It can lie flat to charge your watch facing upwards. It can tilt upwards to turn your watch into a little night-stand clock. D’s series 6 doesn’t stay always-on, but a simple jolt will wake it up and display the time.

JSAUX’s little Apple Watch charger is inexpensive, unassuming and gets the job done. Great for using your watch as a nightstand clock.

The charger has a USB Type-C port, but also has a little tethered adapter so you can use a USB A port. This is super useful for travel if you’re swapping between charging from a computer or a wall supply.

It’s also certainly not going to get lost, which is very handy for something you might travel with.

The charger has a USB Type-C cable. But it also has a captive C to A adapter so you can use it with whatever port you have handy.

The adapter will block adjacent ports if they’re aligned horizontally like on our Anker power supply. You could- if you were so inclined- simply snip away the plastic tether.

The little adapter does slightly occlude adjacent ports if they’re aligned horizontally.

The charger works. Would you expect any less? And it has worked for the eight months that we’ve had it above our bed. Why so long to pen this review? Well… we had another delivery about the same time. He’s doing great and still keeping us very busy.

In summary it’s plastic fantastic, cheap and cheerful but sometimes that’s all you need. The USB cable is captive so it’ll never get separated. About the most I could have asked for is some way to wind the cable around the dock to stow it for travel.

It also makes for a short review. A refreshing change- my fingers are starting to wear down!

And that’s pretty much it. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a bedside charger and don’t want to get anything too fancy. If this is your first time hearing about them- JSAUX have also shown a commitment to engage with their customers and grow a little fanbase. Despite the near unpronounceable sneeze of letters they use as a brand name- they seem legit. They’re also absolutely smashing the Steam Deck accessories market.
